It's Weigh-In Eve

And all thru the house...I'm wanting to eat everything in sight!!!  I have tracked this week and stayed within my points.  I have used all 49 extra points this week and when I weighed this morning I was up 2 lbs.  I'm not real happy and feel like it's not worth it.  Didn't have a clue what to do for dinner as I didn't want to eat the bar-b-que pork steak George fixed so I had an egg sandwich.  I'm going to turn into a CHICKEN!!!  Got to try to be positive though and just think that if I stay with it eventually I might lose a whole pound!!!

Pumpkin Patch Sunday

Today is not the best day for me either...not been drinking enough water and I'm starting to stray some...Didn't eat enough vegetables today.  Stayed on points but not the healthiest points.  Made chili with deer meat so very lean but then I ate cornbread.  Like I said, I've stayed within points but not the healthiest.  I have managed to stay within my points every day but have used some extra points a couple days  I just don't lose that way.  Some people can do it, I just can't!  Went to the pumpkin patch today with Justin, Angie, Alex and Joe.  We got there right at 9 so it was beautiful and not overly crowded.  We left a little before 11 and it was really getting crowded then.  Went over to Angie's new house, looked around and then to Justin's for a short time.  Hang in there!!!

Not Much Posting Going On - by me.

Had a good Saturday.  Stayed on track for breakfast and lunch.  Made pulled pork for dinner, but counted it in my points and was able to pull it off (pun intended.)

Sunday did breakfast a Bob Evans, so had a 9 point breakfast which is high for me.  Toned it down at lunch with a 4 point lunch -- cottage cheese, a plum, part of a banana and some pop chips.

Did leftover pulled pork for dinner with corn on the cob (1/2 ear).  Even had a bit of ice cream for a snack.

I am not getting my water in.  I'm drinking probably about 1/2 of the liquid I should be drinking.  So that's something I know I need to work on.

Busy Saturday

Not only did Cheryl have lasagna, salad and bread but she also had an amazing apple crisp.  I had a small serving with a bite of vanilla ice cream and it was wonderful.  I counted it plus everything else and I used 9 xtra points for the day I think.  Today has been another rough one.  Breakfast I had a hb egg and a bread round spread with laughing cow cheese.  Angie and I did a little running around together and she wanted to go to Breadco for breakfast.  I turned her offer down to share a sandwich with her and had coffee only (black).  Lunch had a turkey sandwich, cottage cheese and some fruit.  Have a party tonight and I don't have a clue what the menu is...I have a feeling it is going to be pulled pork.  Tomorrow we're doing the pumpkin patch.  Wish me luck!!!!  I'm trying but definately more hungry this week.

On Again, Off Again Date...

My on and off again and again date with Cheryl is now on again so we are heading to Columbia this afternoon for a visit with her and Tom.  Not sure what we are having for dinner but planning on lasagna as that was one of the choices that she mentioned.  It's going to be a long day what with the drive, visit, football game and the drive home so not sure how it will go.  Going to give it a try though!  Bedroom is painted and George has done some in the bathroom too but I told him to stop and take a break for a while because he is going to have a long day too......................So far I've had my egg, laughing cow cheese, ham sandwich and a banana for breakfast.  Planning on cottage cheese and sliced peaches for lunch as well as a couple small apples for the trip.  Then on to the week-end!!!  My prediction of a hungrier week has come true...I am much hungrier this week than last.

It's Thursday!

Had a good workout at zumba this morning plus cleaned 3 bathrooms so that ate up a couple calories I hope.  Fixed a very easy pretty good dinner last night, at least we liked it. 6 ozs. mahi-mahi  (3 ozs each),
then I put a blackening spice on the fish.  I got the skillet very hot then spray with buttered flavored Pam.  Only took about 2 - 3 mins. on each side for the fish to cook.  We also cut up two potatoes and made "baked" french fries.  They don't always turn out but they were really good tonight.  Also had a salad for George, after my salad at lunch I didn't really want more lettuce!!  Oh, I made a sandwich out of the mahi-maho using the Nature's Own Multi-Grain rounds...checked again and they are 2 pts. each, they are lower in carbs then the ones we looked at yesterday.  Had popcorn and a WW latte bar for a snack.  I used two extra points yesterday.  Today is going good so far although I was having a little hungry spell here and I fixed myself a smoothie so think I'm good until dinner when I will fix Hillshire Farm Turkey Smoked sausage, saurkraut and mashed potatoes...YUM...then heading to Fireside to see Justin.  Have points for a glass of wine but might save them for a latte bar instead!  Justin had lunch at Red Robin today, he wasn't alone!

later, my friend!!!

Good Day

Stayed on track today.

Cereal and milk for a 4 point breakfast
a 3 point toast snack
Chix noodle soup for lunch 8 points
apple
dinner at Ruby Tuesday
Crab cake 11 points
green beans cooked dry 0 points
green salad

Still have a couple points left over so will check out an evening snack--maybe yogurt to get another milk.

Though my vacation has caught up with me.  Thought I had done pretty good when I came back, but a couple days later I was up, so figure it was the effects of coming off vacation.

Oh well, here's to a more trackable week next week.

Marathon Days

Don't even remember much of what I did this weekend, except I was at the computer until after 1am Friday trying to get my conference website up.  Had a small snafu that kept us from uploading it.  Worked with the tech and got some suggestions.  At 1am, I gave up and told him to upload it when he could because it was due Saturday.

I tried to stick to points as much as I could, but absolutely did not track anything.  Managed to get my water in.

Feel like I haven't been very good tracking buddy. But there is always tomorrow.

I stuck to points today.  Made homemade chicken noodle soup with lots of carrots, onion and celery and fat free chicken broth.  It was yummy.  Had an egg sandwich for breakfast, banana and that dried peanut butter stuff.

Trying out a new recipe...

Had Alex and swim lessons today, boy am I tired!  Work tomorrow.  Decided I was going to try the veal piccata which was the featured recipe on the WW board today only I was going to use chicken.  I thought I had everything else.  With Alex sitting on the floor between my feet playing with pots and pans I started putting the recipe together.  Went to get out the capers and they were gone...guess I used them all!  I thought about it for a second and decided artichokes would work the same.  Then I realized I didn't have lemon juice so I used lime.  Angie ate dinner with us.  We all loved it, including Alex...he just ate the chicken!  I have used 25 points again today and right now my problem is that I haven't used two milks....only 1.  That is the one thing I have had problems with getting in on a daily basis.

I'm tired, keep falling asleep while typing so hope this make sense!  7:45 and I'm ready to hit the bed!

Gorgeous, Gorgeous Day!!!

What a gorgeous day, hope you got to be out and about in this.  Angie, Alex and I went down to Crate and Barrell and another furniture store down there and looked around a little.  George went over to Justin's and watched the RAMS game with and to take care of him.  He wrenched his back somehow and he is down and out.  I've had a great day today so far...tracked everything and still have 6 points for snacks tonight.  I've been following the healthy eating guidelines also this week and have managed to get those all in except for today...I've not had any milk products.  Nothing exciting in the way of meals...for dinner we had a huge chef salad--14 points worth.  Had so many leftovers I told George there was no way I was cooking.  Had egg, chicken, beef, cranberries, onion, lettuce, carrots, mushrooms, celery, cheese and croutons plus 4 tsp. salad dressing.
